Tuch is from the Buffalo area and will almost certainly resign with the Sabres.
A big No to Roslovic, Trouba and Soucy.
No more signing 30+ years old players who want 3, 4 & 5 year contracts.

The problem of not signing 30-plus UFAs is.... There is only a handful of UFAs under that age and the majority of them are turning 30 within the year. Just the reality of the way guys do their bridge contracts to max out their last major signing of their careers. The few years under 30 guys are guys their teams will do everything to re-sign if they are elite.

And there really is only one of those this year. Cale Makar. All the others are pretty much 4th line guys in the low salary range. Even two of the top UFAs everyone talks about Rasmus Andersson and Alex Tuch turn 30 this year. So options are limited for age signings.
