Auston’s value probably isn’t something like three first-round picks, a couple of A-level prospects and a ready-made first-line center anymoree.

It’s been a weak season for him, and the GMs around the league have definitely noticed. His slow skating is something other teams’ GMs will be aware of too.

I agree Tags. He has been a dirty player for a long time and sadly one of these times he won't just hurt someone but hurt them bad enough to end their career. The only reason players on his own teams associate and befriend him is because they are grateful he isn't doing that to them.

I imagine even some of them are very conscious of where he is on the ice during practice,

Leafs have one agenda this coming offseason for sure. That’s getting 1 or more beasts that hit everything and drop the gloves for fun. More importantly stand up for their teammates. Next season Leafs and Ducks or whoever employs Gudas circle that game and he gets smoked leaves not on his owe meaning carried off the ice. That’s first!
