My favourite trades for the big guys so far:

Nylander to ANH for Sennecke + Luneau + draft picks

Stolarz (might have to be Woll to make it work) Maccelli, + 2nd (acquired from Anaheim) for Tippett.

Matthews to Utah for Cooley + McBain + draft picks.

Reilly & Roy + to SJ for Ferraro

Next year lines:

Tippett JT Robertson
McMann McBain Joshua
Lorentz Laughton Cowan - I think this team needs a tough guy here. Players play more comfortable when there is a sheriff on the team. Even Matthews was better when Reaves was here. So maybe we use Cowan (with Carlo) as trade bait to get an offensive puck moving D in the offseason. Fill that 4th line with a tough guy that can play 4th line minutes and not hurt you.

Like the targets but if I’m going to trade Nylander or Matthews a #1 D is a must in return.

If I am doing that Utah deal for Matthews.

We get Greedy. We ask for Cooley, Maveric Lamoureaux (There is the Stud Anchor on Defence for years) and Cole Beaudoin (Big strong Centre) and a 1st.

If they first is a issue we take a 2nd or toss in another player to get the first. I think Beaudoin long term will be a better piece than McBain.
