To Montreal: Jake Gardner to play top pairing LHD with Shea Weber. Their two styles of play should mesh perfectly.

To Leafs: Montreal's #35, #38, and #58 (I believe)

Along with Leafs pick at #52, Leafs would have 4 picks in the 2nd round to fill out their pipeline (and the Marlies roster) with guys like Calen Addison, Jack Wise, Olofsson and Hallander (or others if you prefer 😀)

If they trade Gardiner it will be for an NHL player or a prospect that is almost ready to make the move to the NHL, not just for picks that will take a while to develop (if they ever do) .
