Maybe I’m off with value here but instead of all the massive deals, why not just a simple
Manson and a 2nd to Toronto for kapanen and Toronto’s first. Toronto drops down and picks up Manson. Anaheim gets a bit of scoring.

Anyway, it’s also fun to speculate massive blockbuster trades too. Lol. That’s what we are here for. If everyone proposed the same old boring depth trades, it would lose its appeal pretty fast.

Does losing Manson outweigh the benefits of acquiring Kapanen from the Ducks perspective? I think not!
Too many of the trade suggestions are made while only taking the Leafs needs/ desires into account and not the teams the trades are being made with.
