Maybe it’s just me, but I always feel it’s best to avoid players coming off serious injuries. That season ending shoulder injury to DeHaan that limited him to only 33 games this year sounds serious. I would pass, unless we get a real low-ball offer in.

Not sure about the RNH trade. Sounds good for Leafs. Not so good for Oilers. They will have too many defensemen, and pushing cap limit. They may want to clear salary and another defenseman in exchange.

Nylander for Hamilton is good as well. My biggest knock against Hamilton is that he doesn’t hit or block enough shots. He would be a significant improvements at 1RHD, however.
