CBJ: Murray

Columbus already had a solid top 4 D in werekski, jones, Johnson and savard
and JVR can be a good top 6 winger who could play with wennberg and panarin

Leafs replace JVR role with marleau and get a top 4 defencemen

Murray is a bottom pairing guy. I'd rather have JVR than Murray.

Although I like Murray and still think he can do well. Too high a price to pay for a guy who has not done much. Plus he is a LHD.

Dude Murray was a former 2nd overall pick and was on Team North America in the World Cup, if he was a "bottom pairing d man " then why would NA choose him on the team? Yes he has injury problems but definitely a top 4 d man. Put the biased aside.

@Goatson, I am certainly not biased, I just think JVR is worth more than a Connor Carrick type player. According to that website Carrick may even be slightly more valuable.
