So the first pre-expansion draft trade domino has fallen. A quality starting goalie in Bishop went for a mere 4th round pick as they were going to lose him for nothing.

We need to re-think our value for other such places that should be traded for the same reason.

To ANA: 2017 2nd round pick

To TOR: D - J. Manson

The Ducks will lose Manson for nothing, so a 2nd round pick is very good value

Hey Buds, Bishop is a UFA. That's why it only cost a 4th, so Dallas could negotiate before July 1.

Manson is still under contract. It's going to take more than a second to get a top 4 RHD.

There will be a bidding war for one of ana ypung defence. Make no mistake, they will get full value for whoever they decide to trade.
