For Colorado this is the type of rebuild Trade they need to do taking 1 step back for 2 steps ahead for the future.

Toronto's rebuild still continues even with this Trade, yes what they are Trading is 2 Young Prospects at the NHL Level, 2 Prospects in the Minor League Level with very good upside plus a 1st Round Pick, but with Landeskog at 24yrs old plus the many other Prospects already in there system this is still a good Trade for the Leafs to make.

Theses are the exact deals that toronto need to avoid. A decline in production for the Colorado captain. He plays a lot like Dustin Brown. That's where I see him ending up in another 2 years. Don't tie Hunter's hands. He can find talent. I think these Clara do and Toronto rumors are ridiculous. Avoid making this trade and similar deals.
