I actually like this trade quite a bit, Leafs get a good veteran D in Bieksa and a nice young LW in Ritchie softening the blow of losing Leipsic. I think Leafs would have to add a little something though. Ducks aren't receiving anyone that can help them make a run at the cup, Loov and Leipsic are for the future and Greening and Hunwick likely don't even get a game in with the Ducks. And Loov may never get there, and Leipsic hasn't really proved anything at the NHL level. So Leafs add something.

I agree with goats, the players we would be sending to the ducks would not be helping them win the cup.
