Greening isn't very good, but he is half the cap of Flipper, and doesn't hold an NMC. For Tampa, they don't give up TOO much, and dump Flippers 5 million cap and NMC, while only giving up a decent prospect and pick.
Toronto gets the "better" player, but more expensive player who they can afford. They also acquire a nice d-man and a really nice pick. Corrado is nice, but Koekoek has better long-term potential.

May seem a little biased, but I don't think it is. Yes Filppula is a servicable player, but he does have an NMC before the expansion draft and is making a LOT of money. Greening isn't better, but looking at a Bolland deal - you got to give up something to dump something - and the something that TB is giving up (a first round, basically bust. maybe? and a 2nd) they can live with.

After the Stamkos fiasco I don't see these two teams trading; especially the Leafs helping TB out to protect a young forward. Let Stevie Y deal with his problems.
