not interested in stepan, too expensive long term. krieder I would consider in some kind of trade.

if it's true nyr is looking to trade mcd i'm not sure why. although paid 1 mil less per year then staal, I would consider him their no. 1 dman.

I see your point BGdaddy, I'm looking for either to be a part of the Leafs, the 2 were just added as the extra cost to get McDonaugh. The Rangers are going to shake it up a bit but I still can't see them being able to unload Nash or E.Staal.

I would still try and flip either of them but the Leafs have time and cap space on their side, Stepan for 4 years won't kill them by any stretch. He could be kind of dangerous with Kadri and Komorov.

Maybe Leafs change the 57th to a 3rd rounder next year or leave the 57th in but add Lupul.

Just straying a bit from the same old names that keep getting regurgitated.
