Honestly what's the point other than troubadour and Comrie, we don't Need laine it's been said a lot that nylander and mariner will probably have too play wing , I sorta think they alternate based on of a centre is hurt

i think that if wpg. were to trade the #2 overall, they would not give up any other players besides the pick.

laine has great potential but i would rather propose the following:

draft matthews @ #1

*** sign ufa - stamkos ***

tor trades - gardiner, bozak & pitt 1'st rnd (approx. #27)
edm trades - #4 over all pick ( draft tkachuk - lw )

*also - trade / dump lupul, michalek, holland

laich and greening would be on 4'th line with komarov

lines would look like this:

jvr stamkos nylander
tkachuk matthews marner
soshnikov kadri hyman
komarov greening laich

reilly marincin
carrick zaitsev
corrado hunwick

bernier
bibeau / sparks (?? )

anyway, lots of dreaming for this to happen and yes, guys like connor brown and others would be extras.

Not a fan of the Edmonton trade, especially if we're losing Gardiner to draft a forward.
