What about packaging Komarov and Kapanen to a team like Anaheim, Minnesota, Washington or Nashville.

Return would be something like 1st, 2nd, 4th, roster player.

Kapanen may be a prospect but he is nothing glorious. The leafs already have two small soft fringe puck handlers in nylander and marner. If the leafs can move him for a bunch of picks they can use to move up the draft why not.

Patients is key! Kapenen could turn out to be glorious

Kapanen is a promising prospect. Don't think they give him up.

Its Kapanens stlye of play which is what the Leafs management likes. Unlike Nylander and Marner, Kapanen is an outside rush player with a bigger shot than Willy or Mitch. He's actually a very promising prospect. If he pans out to his potential he will be on the top 6 wing

how can you say "to a team like Anaheim, Minnesota, Washington or Nashville." That's like saying, trading them to literally any team, who cares what position the 1st round pick is, as long as it's a 1st rounder, what a goof

Soft fringe puck handlers? Get your head out of your arse.

The 4 aforementioned clubs are all of a similar ilk benefiting from feisty forward scoring depth for the playoffs. And yes a first is a first especially if we end up with Pitts as the two could be packaged for a top 5 or ten pick. So no "beleaf" its not at all like trading them to just any team.

You're calling Marner soft. What is that based on? Clearly you have never seen him play.
