I think Treliving is getting fleeced by Craig Conroy because something went wrong between the two of them in Calgary.

Toronto should forget about Tanev and try and get Savard from Montreal.

Montreal wants to move him to bring up three players from Laval.

Toronto could offer McMann and a 4th
To
Montreal for David Savard
(And he has another year at 3.5 million) better than the 5 million they are paying Brodie.

Toronto could then trade Llyigren
To
Arizona for Josh Brown and a pick

Toronto could then trade Kampf, Robertson, & Timmons
To Philadelphia for Laughton & Sellers

Defense would then lok like this,

Brodie could be asked for his no trade list and traded for picks as he is a UFA at the end of the year.

I heard opposite, Montreal wants to keep him. But I've always been for targetting Savard. But it's gonna cost a bit more than McMann and a 4th.

Too many trades out and in for the Leafs. I see one team with multiple moves like 2 for 3 then a small marlies move.
