Personally don't think that's an upgrade. Cheaper and may end up better long term (probably not) but Marner alone is better now.

Agree with LeafsLife.

I like it, on paper, but realistically, Drouin would slot in LW okay beside Matthews, but Domi will likely find himself on 3rd line, either as center, or by being the replacement winger for Kapanen, who has to take over for the departure of Marner. I guess it depends on whether you think Domi is a better center than winger (he is obviously), and if he is better center than Kerfoot (again, I do believe he is) .

Domi only has one good year. There’s still a lot of risk there. And Drouin is very one-dimensional and still hasn’t really shown he is ever going to reach full potential like everyone thinks. Very talented player, but just can’t seem to get over that last bump into great player status.
