Stevie y is looking for an opportunity to make his stamp on this team and I think this would do it for him in return the leafs get a big winger who I think is very underrated as we say at the world and another speed demon who would fit nicely as our third line center we also collect two picks due to the fact that marner is the best player in this trade and kadri is no slouch either with this trade it frees up a lot of cap to make moves via free agency all while keeping a solid team.

What’s your reasoning the leafs are getting two cheaper options that won’t kill them down the road mantha is a big power forwards which we don’t have and athansiou put up 30 goals last year plus a return of a 1st this year and a 3rd this is a great return and it gives us flexibility to do things with our defence.
