Looking forward to next year, taking a look at the Isles and they have some high quality talent in the minors at RD. They also have the following:

RHD
Boychuk 3 x $6M left
Pulock 1 x $2M left
Mayfield 4 x $1.25M left

Minors
Noah Dobson
Bode Wilde
David Quenneville

The Isles will likely not trade Dobson, but either Bode Wilde or Pulock could be targeted. Dboson will be ready this year or next.

To TOR: D - B. Wilde + 2020 4th

To NYI: F - C. Brown

or

TO TOR: D - R. Pulock

To NYI: F - C. Brown + 2020 2nd round pick + D - E. Rasanen

Just to add, thinking about the draft. The Leafs should target in the 2nd round RHD Kaedan Korczak from the Kelowna Rockets, size and grit with this kid.

You forgot Devon Toews, who has played well and the Isles are high on and has pushed Mayfield to the 7th D spot. If they feel Toews is ready to move up they may be more inclined to move Pulock. Also, with their wealth of D prospects they may be more interested in a speedy forward rather then another D prospect. Timashov? Like the target, he would make a nice second pairing with Muzzin. So, for Pulock: Brown, 2020 2nd and Timashov.

Brown might be able to get Wilde. Hard to say. I know Wilde has pretty good reviews with high expectations to become full time nhl player. I’m curious to see how this young man develops. I really like his size and if we can get him cheap enough, by all means we should take a chance.
