Ok before you read this don't get me wrong, I'm still skeptical about the leafs trading Nylander, and especially to the sens
To Sens:
Nyander, Marincin, conditional 2019 3rd (2nd if Dzingle re-signs, 1st if Duchene or both guys re-sign)
To leafs:
Duchene, Dzingle, Demelo

We could probably at least re-sign Dzingle and maybe we can re-sign Duchene, I would be happy to give him 7 mill because we would get rid of Zaitsev's heafty contract in the philly trade, Demelo and Gudas would be cheap replacements, and we also lose Brown's 2.1 mill as well. I would assume Dzingle walks in this case.

Ok so Idk but isn’t Gubas like a 5-6 defencemen I mean he’s playing in the top 4 on philly I just think that’s way to much for him.

I was compensating for Zaitsev contract that’s why it seems like a bit much. Also Gudas is a beast, he would be great beside Rielly or Gardiner. He’s +9 on a bottom team and he is on route for over 20 points, he would seem like a great pickup since the leafs need some grit and solid defence on their backend.

Ok fair enough but I think if we got him I’d treat him more like Polak and play him on the third pairing and move Dermott up and use Gudas more on the pk.

if dubas made either trade and I was shanyy I would fire him on the spot. especially the gudas.
