The Xmas trade freeze will soon be here.

Leafs need to get some cap and contract flexibility soon to be ready for trade deadline.

This means at least a 2 for 1 deal or a trade for a pick.

The best option is Kerfoot who does provide a benefit to a contender with PK needs.

LAK is a good target. I like Rasmus Kupari who seems under-valued by management.

Kerfoot and McMann might get it done.

Oilers also need PK help but have little (if any) cap space.

Florida also need PK help and cap space. Kerfoot, Hollowell and McMann for Sam Bennett.

Omg he doesnt score goals, he sucks let's get rid of him. Keefoots value is more about how many goals he prevents. He's the reason marner got that empty net goal to extend hi streak the other day. And he played one hell of a game last night. He's expensive, but the leafs would be worse without him.
