If the Kings want to still take a shot while Doughty and Kopitar are still relevant the Kings could use more goals. Nylander will provide a boost in offence.

Leafs get two good young prospects in Kaliyev and Anderson-Dolan. Wagner is a capable bottom 6 guy and a 2nd for the upcoming draft. Anderson JAD should not take much to re-sign so the Leafs should open up around $4M in cap space.

Great proposal
Nylanders value offer sheet wise is a 1st 2nd and a 3rd. However, nylander is much more valuable than that because he is simply better than he was when he first signed this contract and like it’s been mentioned over and over his final 2 years he is only owed 6 million each year not the 6.9 cap hit he has. I’m not sure if bonuses are paid to everyone on July 1st or if they are paid on anniversary days of the signed contract. If it’s the July 1st date now nylander is only owed 2.5 in year 1 and 6 in year 2. Massive savings.

So Going by offer sheet value
1st round value either kupari or valardi

2nd round value either grans, fabar, kaliyev, fagemo or Anderson-Dolan

3rd round value either leferiere, vilalta

Add in Wagner as a roster dump and choose another player from that 2nd round value and ask for 2nd in this years draft

5 players and a pick. Shoot for the moon and worse case u get deal you offered in the first place and best case you get some extra prospect depth

I like it a lot. If you can move Mrazek in the off season you open up a tonne of new space.
