Dansk won't arrive until 1st week of April if deal is made over weekend. Campbell tries his best to play majority of games during this time as Andersen is clearly hurt. Dansk 700K cap hit is nothing so he gets a try for 3 straight games(3 games before deadline) upon his arrival so Campbell gets break and leafs get good look at dansk. If it doesn't work out trade dansk at deadline. If it works platoon Campbell and Dansk. They now can put Andersen on LTIR if Dansk experiment works eve of deadline. thus now being able to make a huge acquisition due to Andersen LTIR. Strategy 101 well cheating 101 lol. Dansk and Campbell should be a good enough duo for a playoff spot and Andersen comes back injury fatigue nick and bruises free just in time for playoffs if leafs aren't totally confident in the other 2 for playoffs. No cap in playoffs means it's go time with new acquisition and rested Andersen.

Vegas has that Thompson kid to replace Dansk taxi squad spot and woll plays AHL as a project for Vegas

No. Anderson has never been a starter. Even in Anaheim he was shaky. Campbell will take over in net starting tonight and most likely the playoff and Anderson won’t be resigned back. I’m sorry but the trade above has no impact on any team. Ride it out this year and sign a starter in the summer. Just watch.

I never said dansk was replacing and becoming the starter. He simply comes in so Andersen can finally be placed on LTIR thus giving leafs a solid trade deadline piece added then at seasons end Andersen is not injured fresh and ready to go with Campbell and with no cap in playoffs is added to playoff roster plus have that added significant deadline piece

Dansk is a better option than Hutchison so Andersen can legitimately heal.

That’s my thinking.
