I've written for the possibility of maybe trading Matthews but not for that package. You have to get least one proven player and a first rounder to even consider it.

Obviously Matthews is going to be a franchise player, but with Nylander and Marner coming up I think it would be more beneficial to get some solid wingers. Maybe acquire the same people but add their 2nd overall pick?

If Arizona trades bodker then I'd go the firsts overall for three first and a prospect or a second

Dude - IF by chance we ever got our hands on MATTHEWS, we would NEVER let him go!

He would basically be a Franchise Player to us - Toronto.

I'll reiterate as I have many times before, if the Leafs get 1st and can draft Matthews, you do not trade him for anything unless that person is McDavid! Marner is better suited as a winger like P. Kane, so it is ideal to get Matthews!
