Given that Werenski vetoed a trade to Dallas to stay in the East it's a required “all in” for the buds. However I’m not sold on trading Knies. Since Knies can play either wing he could use his size and go to the net. I believe he could be a steady 30 goal scorer on a line with Auston and Gavin.
Therefore Mats needs to stand down and let our prized Swede go for Werenski to allow us more cap to sign more free agents.

We all know Willy doesn’t play a 200 foot game and Knies does. Therefore:

To Clb- William Nylander, Alex Nylander, Dennis Hildeby, Oliver Ekman-Larson, Ben Danford, Cade Webber, 2027 1st(Col), 2027 3rd

To Tor- Zack Werenski, Kirill Marchenko and Mathieu Olivier

Salary Out-(Little over 19 mil USD)
Salary In-(17.4 mill USD)

Likely a pipe dream but we can all hope!

I hate Willy Nylander (aka Silly Peelander) more than Anyone but I think he would be a hard no go’n to Columbus.

So Darren Dreger posted Knies is not part of the package offered for Werenski. ?

•Cowan
•Danford
•Hildaby or Akhtyamov
•Colorado’s 1st

Fully agree Willy isn’t going to Columbus so find a third team with a good player with no moves and makes it happen!
