Tor: Nylander, Robertson, 3rd

Sea: Wright, #7ova, either or O'Brien/ Catton.

Ideally O'Brien over Catton but both are solid prospect that can play center. Both top 10 picks. Wright is a bet on finding what made him a top pick but has the potential to shift a threat from him carrying the puck to McKenna on the opposite side with a crisp pass.

I've floated this exact trade a couple times, but do think Nylander alone is more than enough to get this package.

I'd even go so far as to ask for an additonal 1st rounder next year. If they do that, then you can think about adding Robertson to the deal.

I like the deal but I don’t see Seattle as a place where Willy would go. No one to play with over there.

It all comes down to what direction Toronto goes in. If a rebuild, then Seattle has a lot more young prospects coming and has decent cap space to move ahead quicker in some regards than Toronto. Seattle, the city, would fit Nylander's vibe somewhat.

It's basically a west coast European city vibe. If they had not implemented the new Millionaires tax in the State then it would have been easy for him to waive. That would have given him a pay hike of $2.5 a year but not now.
