Toronto gets:


Oliver Moore


Moore would be a really interesting pickup as a future 2C. Elite speed, great skater, and already shows strong two-way play. Clearly the best prospect in this deal and a higher ceiling than what Toronto is giving up here.
Toronto parts with some B-level prospects plus Robertson, but consolidates into a higher-end piece.
From there, they could look to find some hidden gems on defense in the draft. And if they have a chance to grab Chase Reid, that would be a nice add as well.

Ridiculous overpay. If Moore is so elite, why would Chicago (that needs to increase their goal output) give up such an elite prospect at all. If I was doing it, I would do Robertson and the 2nd or Robertson and Thrun but no more.

Quillan, I think, could be a great depth player here or part of a much better trade package elsewhere.

Koblar I am not giving up until we get to see his progress from last year's Development Camp to this year's. Chadwick is too valuable to give away. He has not hit his full stride yet and no way do I want to see it in someone else's organization.

Well, it’s pretty obvious that those Toronto prospects are at best B-level players, while Oliver is an A-level talented center who’s going to play more games in the NHL than all those Leafs prospects combined.

You’ve probably only looked at stats, suffer67 and if that’s the case, you might want to do a bit more homework before jumping to these conclusions.

Next season Oliver will play a full season. I wonder if any of those other players in that trade will even play over 150 NHL games. See more games and analysis don't look stats too much.

Who said I just looked at stats. You aren’t the only person that attends Marlies games or follows other players. Or has contacts that are connected.

@Thisisit I asked you once before when you mentioned you travel North America with your other Russian friend the scout. If he was an amateur or professional scout? All you said was professional because he gets paid. How long has he been scouting all these leagues you had said you guys attend games at?
