I get it’s a very decent return, but we should NOT trade Knies! He’s a beast; he has heart; he’ll drop the gloves; he can score. When he’s on the ice, other players watch cause he can turn your day upside down fast. I just don’t think guys like him are plentiful.

He’s someone to build around. Never happen, but if it was Knies plus blank for say Cale Makar in a heart beat, that’s not happening, and neither should the Leafs entertain trading a future cornerstone of our franchise. My opinion only.
