Preds deal is alright ?.

Can't see Ducks dealing little Mac (but if they would. yes please! Adds on either side as needed to satisfy both sides)

Halttunen is only just finding his groove but if Marner is heading out something a little more promising should be coming back.


Kings deal- where do we sign?

There is a snowballs chance in the Sahara they the Kings send Byfield and Clarke to Leafs for Marner and Niemala.

Byfield will take over as #1 center from Kopitar when he retires and Clarke has the makings of a top pairing defenseman.

I like the Predators deal.
Lauzon led the league in hits by a wide margin and Evangelista, besides being related to Shanahan, plays with a real edge.

A deal based around McTavish for Marner would be great, but even though they are loaded at center I suspect the Ducks would be reluctant to part with McTavish.
Expecting the 3rd overall pick as well would probably make it tooo bitter a pill to swallow for the Ducks.
