This is how I view the cap, The Panarin trade basically evens out the cap we are giving away and taking in, and in the Karlsson trade, Karlsson is like Nylander but a bit more expensive so we throw in Brown, Pickard and Sandin (roughly 3.5 mill more to balance that)

To Leafs:

4 If somehow possible extend Karlsson short term to give Liljgren more time to develop before rushing him to the top 2 role

That's a pretty significant overpay for one year of Karlsson.

You are high! You think Karlsson is worth that much of a package? Just stay away from Karlsson, he's not worth the ransom to the Leafs.
