Leafs need to add some grit to this line up so

Tor: Jenner 4th 2018

CLB: Lievo 3rd 2018

For a dman I'd like to keep our top four and just add to it

Arz: Timashov Rosen and a 4th 2019

Tor: Hjalmarsson and a pick

I think the leafs need to separate Gardiner and zaitsev they have not really been a good pairing and I think if the leafs put Hainsey or Hjalmarsson with Gardiner it will allow Gardiner to be a bit more offensive zaitsev drops down and plays with Dermott. The leafs in my opinion are done with the rebuild they are a couple players away from being strong contenders

Hjalmarsson is a very good player having a bit of a down year on his new team. He’s defensively sound, has experience playing in a big market, and brings cup pedigree. I don’t think, however, he is the solution to the Leafs problems. Leafs have a glut of high caliber LHD, and appear to be in the market for RHD. Hjalmarsson’s contract also expires next year, and Leafs already have Gardiner to deal with at that time. While it’s possible Hjalmarsson may be moved before the deadline, I don’t think the Leafs are going to be his destination.

Those are both solid deals. Good deals for the leafs. I think Jenner might cost a bit more than that though, I think you take out the pick coming back to the leafs and it's close.

I agree he isn’t the long term solution but for this year I think he may be a cheap rental and it gives both Dermott and Liljegren another year of experience but like I said in other post I think if leafs do nothing I really like the idea of taken a chance on Justin Holl.

I thinking giving holl a chance is the best option as well.
