To Toronto: Faulk and 2018 1st
To Carolina: JVR Bozak and 2018 3rd

Carolina needs scoring and has plenty of cap space to take on the contracts. Gives Toronto a top line rhd and room on the roster for the kids to play.

I like the concept but I can't see the leafs trading bozak unless they are getting another centre in return. Leafs are thin up the middle in depth especially with the injury to gauthier.

Canes laugh, trading a soon to be high draft pick along with a top 2 elite d man for two players they won't even re-sign? canes have skinner and AHo who are both better then JVR.

Certainly wouldn't put Faulk in the 'elite' category. And Carolina has a decent chance at being a wild card team this year.
