I know they want to rid themselves of hartnell but they won't give up both Jenner and Murray for that.

Murray is 2nd pair at best; but he is cheap. I'd rather keep Carrick.

Jenner actually had a "meh" year, when everything looked to be moving along for him. He's a young 3rd year vet and he got less points than old slow can never be a 1st line center, Bozak who has to be injured for 2/ 3 of the year (2015) to go that low in points.

Hartnell is a cap dump, you have him on the wrong side of the deal. If the Leafs give JVR a 7 year deal today, he will be the same age as Hartnell at the end of it; 7 years from now. I'm a huge Hartnell fan, but I'm not that delusional.

Milano is interesting, but unproven; then so is Leipsic.

Not a chance in Buffalo, that this deal goes forward. You have too many pieces in this deal that make no sense to move.

There is not enough quality in the return for JVR.
