Two players with decent underlying metrics but have under produced for their pay grades are Bertuzzi and DeBrusk.

Bertuzzi: 6 goals, 13 assists, 19 points, +7
DeBrusk: 9 goals, 11 assists, 20 points, +11

Bertuzzi had a terrific run with the Bruins after the trade deadline and Bruins might be interested in reuniting with him.
Both players appear to need a fresh start.

To Leafs: DeBrusk, UFA, ($4M)

To Boston: Bertuzzi, UFA, ($5.5 - Leafs retain $1M)

Leafs have half a season to see if DeBrusk is a good fit before extending him this summer.
Bertuzzi fit well with the Bruins last year and the Bruins have 41 games to determine whether they wish to resign him.

Good idea yes. and Bertuzzi can break his NMC for playing in Boston!

I'm very disappointed of Bertuzzi. he's even not going to reach 40 points with playing with 2 of the core 4! Let him walk this summer!
