I think Robertson and Minten to CBJs for Jenner works better for both teams.
Minten will be Leafs 3rd line center, at best, for the next 2 - 3 years (if not permanently) so Jenner takes care of that need.
For CBJs they get a kid who would likely make their team as a 3rd line center next year.
Coyotes are high on McBain and seem to have no interest in trading him though he would be a great replacement for either Kampf or Holmberg.

I don’t think Abruzzese and a 4th round pick gets you Tanev.
Plus unless Klingberg is guaranteed out for the season, Tanev’s cap hit can not be absorbed even with retention which I can not see Calgary agreeing to unless you up the offer considerably.

I think it would take more than one year of Brodie plus Holmberg to get Arizona to part with McBain.
Maybe add Frazer Minten.
McBain would definitely become Leafs 3rd line center moving Kampf back to the 4th line where he belongs.
Kampf showed last year he is not a suitable 3rd line center.
Why would Calgary retain 50% of Zadorov’s salary for a relatively weak offer of Jarnkrok, an unproven defenseman in Timmins who has a lengthy (serious) injury history and an AHL player in Abruzzese?
Too many suggested trades require a team to retain 50% when all 32 teams are tight against the cap.

Simmonds? Omfg. No no no. He's a big body. Still has a decent shot. But worse player than Clifford and probably will make more.
Clifford, Spezza, Simmonds will cost close to $5M-$6M for our fourth line. Twice as much as Dubas will be wanting to spend.
Leafs wouldn't be able to afford the lineup you listed. Not a chance unless you trade one of the big 4. Which I wouldn't do just to make cap room for old man Petroleum Jelly. And that's exactly what he would be good for. F***king us. Right up the wazoo.
