Washington paid a second round pick for Connor Brown. Engvall and Brown have almost identical numbers last year

I think the price for Holl would be a second he can play top 4 anywhere in league

The writing is on the wall for Engvall. The leafs can get much more scoring if Steeves is on that line. Plus the leafs will have 5 million at trade deadline to acquire that last piece

If leafs really went for it they could acquire Kane from Chicago. That would make 3 lines that other teams couldn't handle. The question is weather there are enough minutes to spread around 3 scoring lines

I’m not sure either of those players would bring back a 2nd round pick.
I agree that Steeves is ready for the NHL.
Engvall missed almost all of training camp and will take a little longer to come around.
