Marchment was traded a few days ago for Malgin. It’s quite an unfair trade for VAN. Virtanen and Demko r worth more then UFA Barrie and Campbell, then throwing in the two 2nds on top of it make it even more lopsided. U r also weakening our weak D by trading Barrie without getting a D back. Leafs really need a top 4 defensive dman and a 3rd line centre who can play responsibly. Makes more sense to me if the Leafs trade Barrie for Stetcher (which Bob McKenzie has spoken of) or pick which they can use to try and add a defensive dman and a 3rd line centre.

Yeah to be honest it’s been hard to follow them lately, I’ve been reading all the articles, I’ve read all your guys post and thoughts on the leafs but these last couple of weeks it’s been hard to follow so I will give you the props for busting my balls on Marchment bad on me lol!
I do however want everyone to know where things went wrong. The Patrick Marleau signing derailed the leafs. We should accumulated stock in draft picks and prospects.
Bozak, komorov, Gardner, JVR and anyone else of value should of been traded. That playoff experience They said would make them better really hasn’t changed much. We’ve gave up a couple of 1st round picks lost Gardner for Ceci and sent our only heart on the team to Colorado. To top this Babcock got ran out of town, Hunter got ran out of town and Sweet Lou got ran out of town. Boy wonder signed everyone to 1-2 million to high and that’s cost them. you should never put your faith into an American hockey talent they just don’t have the same love for it as say Crosby a real Canadian base type hockey player. I find Swedes to have more Heart than Americans. If you want to argue about that ask Buffalo how well their doing with their American star in Eihcle?
Only great true winner from the States is Kane and that’s all I have to say about that.
