Saw a report saying Utah trading for Mitch 2 1st being involved now I know Eklund from hockeybuzz doesn't always get reports right but it does make for a conversation point.

So I ask is a package of two first enough for marner? I'd also assume there would be a player/ prospect as well.

Well Dreger also reported that it’s likely they extend him. Marner’s agent has made it known that he will not agree to any trade.

All click bait. James Tanner (a so called insider) quoted Seravelli that they were trying to trade him. Although Tanner couldn’t spell Seravelli’s name correctly so hard to take him seriously. End of the day, it doesn’t matter one bit what the Leafs want to do. It’s all up to Marner.

Whether or not these guys are jokes marner needs to go if they resign him this team will never win a cup. So in my opinion Dreger is the joke for suggesting they r looking to extend him.

I think Leafs need players that will help them get closer to the Stanley Cup, not draft picks who are two years away from being on the roster and even further away from being impact players.
A 1st (6th overall) and a couple of players who might not be stars but make Leafs better like Crouse and Durzi.
