A UFA, a never-will-be, a late second NEXT year, and #4 in liljegren for a #1 in Dumba AND Greenway AND they retain half on Dumba?

I like it, does Minnesota?

Dumba is a very poor defender and Greenway is a 3rd line player of which Leafs have plenty.

Liljegren is close, if not already Leafs best defenseman.
Liljegren is already a better defender than Dumba with only 115 games experience in the NHL.
He will only get better.
Definite no trade.

The expiring contract of Holl plus a 4th round pick is not likely sufficient to generate much, if any, interest at all from the Kraken.

Trading Sandin leaves Leafs with a defensively challenged Morgan Reilly, 40 year old Mark Giordano and 34 year old Jordie Benn on the Left side unless Leafs make a much more sufficiently attractive offer to acquire Soucy.
No thanks.

Bjudstad would be a worthwhile target as a depth bottom six player who can play wing or center in the event of an injury.
Bjudstad’s $900,000 makes him even more attractive.

Dumba a #1?
Maybe on the Arizona Coyotes!

Why has he been scratched from the lineup?
Because he continues to play poorly.
Liljegren, after 115 games in the NHL is a better defender than Dumba!

I like Dumba. He's been a solid contributor his entire career, but sadly he's fallen victim to an injury history which has limited what he can do currently and going forward. I feel for the guy, but I pass.
