Kuzmenko

Canucks will be trading off most of if not all of their expiring contracts, Kuzmenko I believe will put himself out on the open market to get as much as possible for himself imo, so I do see Vancouver trading him.

Leafs being all in looking to improve on Wing and possibly Defense add a player that will make the Top 6 and Bottom 6 better adding Kuzmenko and moving Jarnkrok to the Bottom 6, they are giving up some future in this deal but it's worth it imo.

Kuzzy isn't a great player. He isn't needed.

Though I like Kuzmenko and feel he would be a good addition to the top six, I am against giving up any more 1st round picks or prospects for rentals.
Unless Leafs can negotiate a contract extension with the player and his agent in advance of the trade I would say no to most UFA additions.
For example, CBJ’s are allowing interested teams to talk with Gavrikov and his agent.
This benefits both teams.
The acquiring team is able to have roster and cap stability while the Blue Jackets get a better return.
