Leafs trade Holl and Engvall

Anyone futures

Bank the cap space

Leafslife

I don't blame Dubas for Marchment trade. The waivers was a problem keeping him. Now Marchment makes 4.5 million so he was gone from leafs anyway. Don't you think the only reason Leafs gave Engvall 2.1 million was he was getting traded anyway.

Now we got Robinson 2 years at 750k then restricted. I love this team and Matthews and Marner haven't warmed up yet. Samsonov looks great as well but the two lines no other team can match those two lines.

We are closer to Stanley cup than ever before in Matthews Marner era. With nearly 5 million in cap space coming by moving Holl and Engvall. Leafs could vet a huge piece at deadline.

Leafslife or anyone out there

Does Robertson score 30 goals this season?

Are the leafs much better than they were last season?

I think Robertson gets 30 goals 30 assists
Nylander finishing 90 pts
Tavaras gets 80 Pts
Mathews 70 goals
Marner 115 points.

I agree with you on Marchment, same reason Florida couldn't sign him. I would try Malgin in Engvall's spot for the time being. He has to be the softest 6'5" player in the league! Hell, let Simmonds play a few games (4th line) maybe Mathews will stop getting cross checked or player taking runs at him. I respect Bunting trying to stick up for him, but he dosen't exactly impose fear and you can see it.

@David Robertson is on a 160 goal pace. Of course he hits 30!

Should have never traded Marchment for Malgin. Doesn't matter what he is paid now, Leafs lost a couple of cheap years from Marchment with that trade. If Leafs had Marchment, maybe Dubas doesn't make the Foligno trade. It was a bad trade. Malgin is, and will be, a non- factor.

Getting 30 goals is tough. As teams get to know him, it will get harder and harder for Robertson to find space. If he stays with the big club all season and gets 20, we should be thrilled.

David slow your roll.

Our defense looks like swiss cheese, we are considered the softest team in the league to play against and loss to the 31st and 32nd worst teams last year.

Dubas needs to made trades now, not wait until it is to late. The teams has no getup or spark to start games and Keefe is way to high strong.

I suggest these teams to help along the team.

Matthews 40g 90pts selke winner

I like how Robertson looks and if he stays healthy yes 30 is probable but him stayin healthy isn’t so probable

Nylander may just crack 40g 100pts
Tavares 35g 85pts
Marner 33g 93 pts
Robertson 25g 42pts (50 games)
Bunting 23g 45pts
Kerfoot 26g 71 pts (big contract year)
Kampf, Engvall, ZAR, Kubel, Jankrok 50g combined
Rest of forwards 5 goals
Defence 20 goals if lucky

That’s 297 goals

Demon out.
