So it looks like Llyigren is on the Ltir for six weeks.
That is $1.4 in cap space.
That puts Toronto at $0 cap space approximately.

Toronto puts Simmons and Clifford on waivers to be sent down to Marlies.
Clears $1.5 million and Endvall could miss time on Ltir $2.2

That's $3.7 in cap space to trade for Puljarvi from Edmonton.

I was hoping the Leafs would trade for Puljajarvi prior to signing Jarnkrok.
I also wanted them to sign Dylan Strome in free agency.
A 3rd line of:
Engvall - Strome - Puljajarvi

would have worked well allowing Kampf to slide into the 4th line shutdown role:
ZAR - Kampf - NAK.

Jarnkrok, Benn, Mete, Gaudette, Simmons, Clifford are all unnecessary IMO!

Ive been screaming this since his name has popped up. The kid is one of a kind. Cost controlled, defensive player that wont cost an arm and a leg to keep long term and can chip in here and there.
