I see Vancouver falling out of the playoff hunt.

What do you think about targeting JT Miller?

Costs to acquire him at 50% retained?

Does Kerfoot, Robertson and 2022 1st do it?

Again, Kerfoot alone is having a far better year than Miller.
Adding Robertson (one of our two best prospects) and a 2022, 1st round pick just adds insult to injury.
No thank you!

@Tagz. If 50% is being retained on Miller, I don't think you are far off. Miller has been about a pt per game guy for 3 years since joining Van. He would be a good addition.

Kerfoot is having a career year and he is now the newest guy to overvalue on the Leafs by many. Many were whining about Mikheyev because he couldn't pot one. Now he has 5 goals in 7 games this season and if he keeps producing, the same ones that wanted him gone and said he had hands of stone will do a 180 and say we can't trade him now. Kerfoot is benefitting pts wise from the opportunity he is being given. For those into possession numbers, his are not good. His onicesh% is 13.7%. Only 4 players on the Leafs have a higher personal sh% than Kerfoot's onicesh% (Matthews, Mikheyev, Brodie and Spezza) . That is an extremely high onicesh% and basically tells us that he is benefitting from the ability of others to score while he is on the ice when you consider he only has 6 goals himself. Bunting and Kase have more goals than him. Mikheyev, Kampf, Simmonds and Engvall are all within two goals of Kerfoot. Most have an onicesh% of close to half of Kerfoot's. Only Mikheyev's is higher because of his own 22.7% this year.

Point being, you are not overvaluing Kerfoot due to his recent success and good for you. He is a solid player making max money for what he brings, nothing more.

WTF Miller has played 38 games and has 38 points. He's a big body player who likes to throw his weight around too. No KERFOOT is not having a better year than Miller!
