Abramov, Niemela, Holl & a 1st rd pick in 2022 to Montreal for Chiarot. With Montreal eating half his contract.

Ritchie, Mzarek, Amirov, Hirvonen & a 1st rd pick in 2023 & 2024 to St. Louis for Tarasenko. With St. Louis eating half his contract.

Leafs have 0 need for a LEFT hand defencemen. why do people not understand this simple thing. has not changed, will not change. here is the leafs shopping list:

top 2 LW (E. Kane, Namestnikov, M domi, iafallo, jt miller)
#2 RHD (Manson, severson, rostelainan, kleinberg, miller)
#2 G (korpisalo, wedgewood, khodobin/ holtby, halak)
upgrade #3 or #4 RW (clutterbuck, chiasson, Järnkrok)

the price is too high for chychrun, chairot doesn't feel like an upgrade of Sandin. and neither of them add the snarl for the playoffs.

we have several decent peices we can trade:
