Up front leafs have matthews Marner Tavares Nylander and nothing else. What Dubas does after Kerfoot is traded will become the destiny of the 2021-22 season.

As a Leaf fan, I hope this is Kyle Dubas's and Shannahan's last year in the TML organization. The Maple Leafs will continue to be the butt-end of the Butt end jokes, so the dream lives on . just more extended for the dreamers.

Boston and Florida are vastly improved TAMPA IS STILL LOADED. This could be final season of shanahan and dubas. The core pieces matthews Marner Nylander Tavares neilly muzzin Brodie plus below average goaltending isn’t getting it done.

@David the goaltending was good under Soup. I can't fault him for that series. He played well enough to win.



Rielly should have been traded when Jones and Ristolainen were. That was the time. It's gone now. You won't get the same return.

I don't think Kerfoot gets traded. Dubas really likes him, that's why he traded Kadri for him. He thinks that's the 3C/ top 6 LW that will get them over the hump.

@Pitts if this isn't a solid year Dubas will be gone for sure. I agree though that Shanny needs to go. This is his dream, his Shana-plan.

There's a fundamental knowledge of reality; the leaf's administration hasn't grasped that. You can only have your cake and eat it too if you have equilibrium within your team; don't have it now.

It’s really bad upfront. What can they turn Kerfoot into when he is traded with cap space created. Arizona and Buffalo will want 750k in actual dollars owed to Kerfoot and then they can trade him to cash strapped playoff team pay half his salary and he is free player in terms of dollars owed him. Leafs have 4 studs up front right now and class D talent after that. Dubas your getting fired dude.

@David I don't think the pagula family cares about money as much as Coyotes ownership does. I wouldn't count on them taking contracts just to not pay someone.

Buffalo just blew it up completely. As long as they are at the cap floor they really don't care.
