To - Dvorak, rights to rantaa, latest 2 of their 2nd round picks (Arizona has 5 second rounders currently.).

It's a wild trade but here's maybe why it works.

Toronto gets a top 9 fwd and their tandem goalie while recouping some lost draft capital.

Arizona gets a 22 year old dmen to add to their rebuild core and a 1st rounder to speed up their rebuild. Mikey and engvall help keep the leafs cap in line and Arizona can move them for picks at the deadline.

Love the target in Dvorak - the PERFECT 3C we need to build a dynamic 3rd line. But I would trade for Kuemper with 50% retained. Kerfoot, Dermott and next years 1st.
Send Engvall plus to CAR for Fogele (I’m convinced he can be the next Hyman - and for 2 million plus) . Sign Janmark (or Granlund) as a UFA Hamonic to play 3rd pair RHD.

Pick ups. I’d still like to replenish our draft capital to somehow. Dubas has traded a lot of picks and most of our depth so we got a lot of work to do.
