NJ gets a scoring winger within the age range of their other young stars and a cheaper replacement for Severson on the RD. Devils can afford to move both Foote and Daws due to depth in the organization. Leafs upgrade their RD in Severson who also has term, pick up a potential top 6 power forward in Foote and a developing goalie in Daws who has #1 potential.

After all is said and done, Leafs also open up almost 4.5M in cap space this year and about 8M for next year while improving their D, adding a top 6 prospect, a bottom 6 prospect who both play a more physical game and a very good goalie prospect.

Awesome, combine 2 previous deals and make them them both work a bit better. Even get Guelphs/ Germany’s awesome goalie that I wish leafs drafted.
