I last seasons johnsson has 1g 13pts in 8 more games than anderson

People need to stop thinking anderson is younger then johnsson. May 94 anderson vs nov 94 johnsson. Both got drafted during first year of eligability but johnsson wadnt eligable until 2013 while anderson in 2012

Anderson is an ontario boy played for knights. He didn't have to get use to NA ice. Johnsson spent extra year in sweden before deciding to completely leave his friends and family. Being such a low draft pick the lefs struggled convince him to come just to play in AHL to get us to NA Ice. He made a tough choice but it paid off. 1 so so year in ahl followed by a good year and great playoff run that ended in marlies winning ahl title and johnsson being named playoff mvp. Then he gets 43 points in his rookie season. Yes he has less overall experience in nhl than anderson but only because anderson is 1 draft ahead of him and didn't have to leave a continent to play hockey. Anderson never hit point a game in jr. he hashad 1 breakout year with 27 goals. not 30 like many seem to think. His other 2 good years he had 19 and 17. Johnsson only has his 2 seasons to go by but the fact he was a mere point a game guy in both shl and ahl makes me believe he will be a more complete point producer than anderson

If you want 3rd line speed who can play up in top 6 when injuries occur and can play 2nd unit PP and penelty kill johnsson is a goid target

If you want a big 3rd line bruiser who defends his linemates who can play 2nd line when injuries occur but also gets 4th line action because he is inconsistent and get 2nd PP unit time in front of net well Anderson is your guy

Trading one for the other will not get either team a 1st. lucky if either adds.

Know the facts before stating false knowledge.

Most teams, the Leafs included, don't want to trade a good player, prospect or draft choice for a collection of over priced pending UFA, bottom line forwards, 5/ 6 d-men and cap dumps. These trades really favor the Leafs and offer players that the other teams really don't need.

Kerfoot would be jets 2nd line center. Dermott be on jets top 4 2nd pair LHD
Liljegren would become jets 2nd best prospect. Andersen would be hellboys bavkup every other year as hellboy sucks every other season.

Only 1 is a pending ufa and he would be a big upgrade while colorado gives their 2 younger goalies 1 extra year to develop better

Islandjet really undervalue leaf players but whatever.

Cragger you really vastly overvalue every Leaf player. I guess that your a homer and I don't mean it as an insult but you just believe in your team. Its for that reason the Leaf supporters always turn on their players and demand they be traded because they don't live up to the artificial hype of the Leafs media and fans. Look at how so many of these Leaf supporters recently want to dump Marner when before last Xmas he was their hometown hero. Jet fans don't post these questionable trades but react negatively to unrealistic proposals posted by other teams fans trying to steal Jet players. Maybe the Jets will trade Laine or Ehlers and they may get better or worse returns then fans expect, but now I don't believe the Jets will be trading them anytime soon.

I don't overvalue leaf players to badly. Kerfoot isn't a 4th line player. Dermott isn't a minor league dman and andersen may be a ufa after next year but he is still better than 18 other teams starters .

Zadorov is good but sakic is struggling with signing him due to he won't do a short term deal this time around and dermott will. Bowers is an older prospect while andersen definetly upgrades colorado goaltending quite a bit. Maybe that pick is a tad much but if colorado is desperate and doesn't want to sign holtby or markstrom long term at the money they'll want to command his next best option is by trade. Their are 9 teams wanting andersens services and once holtby and markstrom go to 1 of those teams there will be 7. If kuemper doesn't get dealt andersen becomes the best choice. If 7 teams are bidfing for 1 guy the price goes up. That 1st might have to be thrown in just to win the bidding war. like it or not when there aren't lots of goalies being made available yet 9 playoff or almost playoff teams wanting an upgrade in net or just need a starter short term until there young goalie is ready the 1 available goalie becomes a hot item. Sorry if that goalie happens to be a leaf. I know it sucks for leaf haters but that's how economics works. not my fault

The ranger deal might not work as well. Is georgiev really being made available. Seems rangers can't choise between the 2. What if 1 sucks or both. They aren't even as proven as goalies like Raanta, keumper or andersen where when they were dealt for so much. Playoff teams needing a vet goalie to cone in and stabslize the net for a year intil young guy is ready probably won't take risk on getting another young unproven goalue. That leaves the likes of ottawa, buffalo, jersey, SJ and maybe LA as posdible teams that would take the on such a risk. SJ and LA simply because jones and wuick have been regressing bad. Of those 5 teams how much would they offer? Maybe more than what leafs offer but a 26 yr old 3rd line C who can cover 2C if injuries happen plus a young D prospect who fits in well with youth movement in NY.
Then switching 22 spots in the draft. Yeah it probably a bit off but if NY like kerfoot enough and due to kerfoot and Fox being pretty close buddies might not harm the chances of this deal happening. i still think its a bit off .

The 1st one is not too bad in value
The 2nd 1 is a bit off

Not as bad as you make it out to be IJet.

Laine looks to be gone. I do agree though, it may not be an amazing return.

Some people over value players here but craiggers is not one of them lol. Most trades he posts come with comparables at the time of their trades. The one thing none of us know though is what the trade market looks like in a flat cap world. What's the estimate? 15 teams that can't spend even close to cap I believe I read. That absolutely kills the value of a guy like Marner compared to what he would have fetched last year. I agree with your statements in those ways.

Not every leafs player is useless though lol. if Willy were traded he would get a great return. He's had massive bonuses paid, he is a 30 goal scorer and his cap hit is reasonable. You need to chill on the "soft leafs players are not worth anything" statements some of the time at least or no one takes you seriously.
