Mtl doesn't need the cap space and already have 3 2nds in this draft

Unless Col is unhappy with Grubauer than getting Anderson doesn't make much sense as they seem to be after a better backup.

Still doubt CLB wants to move Anderson for Johnsson

How much of Nylander's contract are we eating so Philly can fit him under the cap? They are in cap hell.

Massive overpayment for Demko imo, plus they are tight on the cap to take on Kerfoots 3.5.

Mtl is still a rebuilding team and would gladly take another 2nd because they won’t get much more than that as for the Colorado trade Grubauer wasn’t spectacular and dealt with a number of injuries Columbus I think would move Anderson if they get enough value for him philly trade is what it is they are going to try and move JVR but if the leafs really had to they could retain a bit As for Demko Kerfoot is a bit of a dump wouldn’t be hard to make room for him on Vancouver and Liljegren just hasn’t fit here and should be move while he has some value and Abramov is a good prospect but that’s what it will take to get a good young goalie.

MTL is more likely to move Danault at the TDL. No need to move him now when they such young centres otherwise. The point was, they don't need the picks more.
Neither was Anderson spectacular and he costs more than Grubauer.
That was the point, Johnsson isn't enough to move Anderson.
Philly will have trouble moving JVR or others without adding assets. They want to clear cap space not add 7M even if it is Nylander while giving up a cost controlled young asset and a pick. Nylander is not a need for them.
Putting all our eggs into an unproven young goalie who had a couple great playoff games is a huge gamble. Explain why they need Kerfoot at all. If Markstrom doesn't re-sign, they traded their only goalie.

What's with the Johnson for Anderson trades constantly? Anderson is the better player. That's why we want him. Why would CBJ do it?

There about equal johnsson and Anderson because both had injured years but Anderson is an rfa and johnsson has term plus I added Korshkov who could play 3-4 line for them johnsson is a torts kinda player.

They aren't equal though. Both had a bad year and we're hurt.

Anderson is younger. Anderson has a 30 goal season before this one. Anderson is an RFA.

Anderson is clearly the better and more valuable player.
