The leafs could easily trade Nylander as every team will take his contract. He is to soft and doesn't play well in his defensive position as he is always trying to cherrypick at the other blue line.

Robertson, Barbanov and Mikchyev could all score 12-15 goals which is more than Nylander had and this would add balance scoring.

I still think that the best trade is Nylander for Ekblad but I think Dubas will pursue Dumba from Minnesota instead as he has cheaper contract.

Johnsson could be moved to help with scoring depth but I would perfer he is traded for a 2nd RHD player like Matt Roy, Sean Walker or Zadorov from Colorado.

Dubas should talk to Anderson now and offer him maybe a 3yrs at 6.5 million contract and if he says no then now is the best time to move him.

Lenher is going to sign in Vegas, that's a given so who do you trade for, Fleury, Murray or Kuemper.

I say Kuemper. He could be signed for 5 or 6 million for 4 years.

Ok so this post sucks and it’s not the trades the suck it’s the reasoning. Nylander is so good. He scored 30 goals this year and was on a point per game pace. And he’s only going to get better next year. So personally I’m not a fan of trading Nylander.

Nylander is underrated! Little soft. yes.
I wouldn’t want to trade him. But if I did Ekblad is the way to go! Reilly Ekblad. Played 1st pair for NA at World Cup!

Nylander is the new Gardiner. I said it would happen when Gardiner left. Here it is lol. Just like we would have won a cup if it wasn't for Gardiner, if Nylander wasn't so soft that would have been a sweep lol.
