I like the Minny trade, and if Leafs have to dump salary, I hope they go about it like this. Greenway was a highly rated prospect when he was drafted. He is big, chips in a bit of offense, and actually hits/ checks. A younger version of Kyle Clifford, but with upside. If Dubas wanted Clifford, he would want Greenway too I would think.

Next time don't put overall cap savings inbetween the 2 trades. you're just backpeddling to save face.

Also once you replace the 2 roster players required to replace after this deal even with ELC you can take at minimum 1.75 away from that 6.25 number

Thats 4.5 savings total at best and a massive downgrade in talent

But hey if cap savings is what you want you saved half of what you said you would so still not bad.
